Nordic Sustainable Business Academy

PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATE PROGRAM

Nordic Sustainable Business Academy offers practical short programmes for students, educators, business leaders and HR professionals who want to strengthen their sustainability, digitalisation, AI and future skills. Through hands-on learning, real company cases and Nordic expertise, participants gain practical tools, international perspectives and memorable learning experiences in Finland.

The Academy is a collaboration between Business College HelsinkiSykli Environmental College, and Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences, combining expertise in business, sustainability, and higher education.

The programmes also introduce the Finnish approach to wellbeing, leadership and work-life balance in the world’s happiest country.


For students

Explore sustainability, Nordic working life and new perspectives on your future in Finland.

Envisioning Happy Futures is a two-week Professional Certificate Programme for international higher education students. The programme combines sustainable business, digital transformation, wellbeing and future skills with hands-on learning and experiences of Finnish nature and culture.

During the programme, you will explore sustainable business and circular economy, Nordic working life, digitalisation and AI, sustainability competences and personal wellbeing. Learning takes place through workshops, teamwork, study visits and practical activities.

International higher education students from all fields of study.

This Professional Certificate Programme is designed for international educators who want to deepen their understanding of sustainable business and circular economy in the Nordic context.

The programme combines expert insights with practical learning, workshops, company visits and opportunities to exchange ideas with other education professionals. You will explore sustainability competences, circular business models and the green transition while experiencing Finnish education, working life and culture.
